My grandfather gave me this cactus the last time I saw him (ever). Every year when it blooms it amazes me. It's pretty ugly the rest of the year, but for a few weeks in spring it is beautiful. And the flowers only open up in the evening, stay open all night, and then close up when the sun hits them in them morning. I wish it would bloom all year.

I am kind of pissed off, because when I saw them putting the for sale sign on this tomato the other day when I was walking to BART from work, I really wanted to take a picture of it for my blog, since anyone who reads my blog knows the tomato. That's probably why the next day i went out and bought an iPhone. I just went to take a picture of it, and not only is the sign gone, but the tomato is gone!!!! Luckily, I thought to look for it on Craigs List and there it was. I liked it better with the "Tomato for Sale" sign on it.
San Francisco, South of Market icon for sale. After serving for 18 years as a SOMA landmark for San Franciscans, the giant tomato is available for sale. It is huge and ready to be hung or displayed by the buyer. It is hollow metal and in great condition. Original cost was $5,000. Asking price: $1,500. The tomato is still hanging at 489 Third Street, San Francisco (cross street Bryant). Please call 415-722-9229 if you have any questions or would like to purchase the "Big Tomato."
It's not hanging there anymore!
I don't know why, but I've always despised converse sneakers. I thought they looked stupid and stupid people wore them. My rule was never go home with a guy who smoked or wore converse. But look at me now.
Well, you can't look at me now. I can't seem to get a photo from my iPhone to upload. I emailed it to myself, then opened up the email on my work computer, then saved the picture onto my comptuer, then tried to upload it to this post but Vox says it is unable to upload the image. There is probably an easier way to do this. I thought the iPhone was going to be my ticket to easy photo posting. I quit.
